Muse of Discovery

This is the “Muse of Discovery” sculpture at Lake Eola by Meg White. It is a large sculpture made from earthwork and limestone.

It portrays a reclining woman gazing at her open hand. Her hand is large enough for a child or adult to sit in allowing the visitors to be a part of the sculpture. My son climbed inside the hand and on top of the feet.

See Art Orlando is a self guided tour of 9 permanent contemporary art sculptures at Lake Eola.
