Crealde School of Art: Night of Fire event šŸ”„

This is piece of art outside at the Crealde School of Art. One of my favorite annual art events is this weekend. The Night of Fire šŸ”„ event at Crealde School of Art is Saturday, January 12 from 5-8pm.

The interactive demonstrations include painting, torch cut metal, a gas kiln firing and raku firing. My favorite is the light painting photography display over Lake Sterling. It is a free family event with a suggested donation of $5 per adult.

You can tour the art galleries, studios and there is a live band. The kid art activities are from 5-6:30pm and adult activities from 6-8pm.

My son did a bunch of the kids art activities last year. I danced with my son to the band playing “When the Saints Go Marching In” song while we waited by the lake for the light painting display. There are lots of unique student made sculptures outside in the courtyard.
