Fort Christmas

We visited Fort Christmas Historical Park recently. It’s a great cooler weather activity since it’s all outside. It was my first time there. The fort is a 1837 replica and museum. Fort Christmas is free, educational and great for kids. It also has pioneer ranch homes, a playground, open park areas and three pavilions you can rent for parties.

They have school tour programs too. My son visited Fort Christmas on a summer camp field trip. He learned how to churn butter, make a candle and feed the chickens.
